mRo Super EMI absorbers consist of insulation layers, shielding layers, absorbing layers, and nonconductive pressure-sensitive adhesives developed by 3M. These absorbers are typically used for applications requiring both electromagnetic shielding performance and absorption function. It is useful for electrical devices for broadband radio frequency range, including mobile, radios, tuners, LAN, RF blocks, and military equipment. The mRo Super EMI absorber uses similar materials implemented in military equipment for radar avoidance and stealth performance.

In other words, this is the best 3-in-1 material you can get for shielding your GPS and other sensitive devices from any kind of RF noise ranging from 10mHz to 10Ghz (most effective around 1-5Ghz)

mRo Super EMI absorber can be used as an EMI "Shield Can/Faraday Cage" design when other options are not practical.
